Changepoint is excited to migrate our SaaS operations to Amazon Web Services (AWS). This simply means that Daptiv PPM is moving to one of the most respected and secure infrastructures in the world. As part of our ongoing product innovations, we are committed to providing a first-class hosting operation of our Daptiv PPM SaaS product.
The following are frequently-asked questions about the migration, specifically for sandbox customers.
Q: What URL will I use to log into the new sandbox environment?
Q: Will I still be able to switch enterprises in the application?
A: No. With the deployment of the new sandbox environment for our EU customers, users will need to log into the Production and sandbox environments independently.
Q: Will my data be the same as my current sandbox?
A: Yes. Your current sandbox environment will be replicated to the new instance.
Q: When I request a new refresh of my sandbox in the new environment, will anything change from the way it's done today?
A: The only change you will see is that the enterprise name will no longer change to include the word, "sandbox."
Q: We use SSO for logging into the application. Will we need to configure a new connection for the new sandbox instance?
A: Yes. The new sandbox instance will require a new SSO implementation for this environment. Please contact customer support to help you set this up.
Q: Will the migration occur during the standard downtime window?
A: No. The migration will require an extended downtime, which is scheduled for Friday, January 20, 9am - 3pm PST (5pm to 11pm GMT).
Q: Will links sent in previous notifications still work?
A: No. The new URL for the sandbox environment will be https://sandbox.daptiv.nl.
Q: Will my Daptiv Connect integration still work?
A: Yes. Daptiv Connect integrations will continue to work as expected.
Q: Will my Daptiv utilities still work?
A: Yes, but they will need to be remapped with the new URL.
Q: Will my web forms still work?
A: No. Web forms will need to be regenerated from the new location.
Q: My IT department has whitelisted Daptiv PPM. Will they need to update the whitelist information?
A: Yes. The new URL will need to be added to the whitelist.
Q: Who do I contact with inquiries about the AWS migration?
A: Daptiv customer support can be contacted by calling 1-800-341-9117, visiting the customer support webpage, or submitting a question directly to the support team.
